Where I Find Inspiration for My Game Designs

Game design is not just about mechanics or graphics—it's also about ideas, stories, and feelings. One of the most common questions I get is: “Where do you find inspiration for your games?” Here are my top sources of inspiration: 1. Everyday Life – A walk in the park, a conversation with a friend, or even a strange dream can spark a new game idea. 2. Movies and Books – Storytelling in films and novels gives me ideas for characters, worlds, and emotions I want to recreate in games. 3. Other Games – I play games from many genres, studying how they work, what they do well, and what could be improved. 4. Nature and Art – Colors, shapes, and patterns in nature or paintings help me think visually and design better environments. 5. My Own Experiences – Personal memories and feelings often find their way into my design choices, making my games more meaningful. Inspiration is everywhere—you just need to look with curiosity and imagination.

Game Design Tools I Can't Live Without

As a game designer, having the right tools is essential to bring ideas to life. Over the years, I've discovered several tools that have become indispensable in my workflow.

1. Unity: A versatile game engine that supports both 2D and 3D game development.

2. Blender: An open-source 3D modeling tool perfect for creating game assets.

3. Trello: Helps me organize tasks and collaborate with team members efficiently.

4. Adobe Photoshop: Essential for designing textures and UI elements.

5. Audacity: A free audio editor I use for sound effects and voiceovers.

These tools have significantly streamlined my development process. If you're venturing into game design, I highly recommend

exploring them.
